UPCOMING EVENTS

All members of DACOR are encouraged to attend the Huston Musicales, ADST/DACOR book launch receptions, and receptions for newly commissioned Foreign Service Officers and their spouses and for new chiefs of mission and their spouses attending FSI’s Ambassadorial Seminar.  There is no charge for the events listed above but reservations are required.  Members are also encouraged to attend luncheon/lectures in the Forum and Newberry Series, for which the charge is $15 per person. Dacorians may make reservations for their guests.

Luncheon lectures begin at noon with a reception in honor of the speaker.  There is a cash bar.  Lunch starts at 12:30 pm, followed by the speaker’s remarks.  These events should conclude by 2:00 pm; attendees are free to leave at that time.

DACOR welcomes speakers on many topics and encourages vigorous expression and questioning of points of view, while striving for balance.  No endorsement of speakers’ views or of their charitable, professional, or commercial bona fides should be inferred.

To make or cancel a reservation, call the reservations voice mailbox, 202-682-0500, ext. 15.  Cancellations received prior to 9:00 am on the day before the event will be honored; members who cancel later or do not appear will be billed.  DACOR Bacon House is accessible by persons with disabilities; walkers are available.  Please call Executive Assistant Anne Kauzlarich, 202-682-0500, ext. 10.
