DACOR Newberry Cultural Series

The Newberry Committee, chaired by Susanne Newberry, hosts speakers from September through June, on the third Wednesday of the month. These events are announced in the Bulletin.

They begin with a reception (cash bar) at noon, followed by lunch ($20/person) at 12:30 pm. The speaker delivers remarks from 1:15 to 1:45 pm, and responds to attendees’ questions until the event concludes at 2:00 pm. Guests accompanied by members are welcome.

Newberry Lecture Series

"In the Golden State of Mind: Wines from California"

Wednesday, October 20, 2010, at noon 

For the premier program of its 2010-2011 season, the Newberry Series presents a wine tasting featuring selections from California vineyards.  DACOR members and their guests are invited to enjoy the wines and a special menu prepared by Chef Iris Galeas.

Reservations are necessary for Newberry Series luncheons. To reserve a place, please call the reservation line at (202) 682-0500, ext. 15, or e-mail Program Coordinator Caroline Conway at prog.coord@dacorbacon.org.

If your plans change, you must cancel your reservation by 9 am the morning prior to the even to avoid being charged.
